I have been smoking for nearly 16 years, have tried a lot of quality herb in that time. Yesterday, I had a taste revival of some the great strains my brothers friend brought down from Humbolt County in the early 90's.
A good friend of mine is a medical user as I am. He gave me a few clips about a month ago from a beautiful Ultra Kush plant he grew fom seed.
My lady is about 24" tall ina 5 gallon soil container.

Yes, I'm changing from hydro to soil.

Anyway...My buddy harvested and dried/cured his bud recently and gave me a few kick-nuggs.

Ultra Kush has a smell reminicant to the smell of my parents garage after my dad painted my older brothers' '66 Mustang in it. I loved that smell...

The taste has a hint of the paint, but with a pleasant flowery taste that kicks in at the end.

My friend let the glands get 50% amber-50% cloudy. And my are those top colas enormous! Big gnarly hairs round tops buds that made me think of my George Foster signed Louisville Slugger.
I have a pretty high tolerance it seems, but after about 3 hits from a small stone pipe, I felt a cerebral blast that also calmed my body.
An introspective high of sorts. Very stoned.

Overall I rate this a REALLY solid 9 out of 10.
