Permafrost

We have a Permafrost in our garden and it is exceptional. We really want to find seeds for this strain but there is almost no info online about it. Does anyone know what its parentage is or, more importantly, where we can obtain seeds?

no, you don't understand.Take a cutting from a lower branch, let it root, bring it inside and reveg and you can keep the strain alive or you can take a cutting let it root, reveg it and then flower it and stress it into becoming a hermie thus producing seeds.

did you ever find out where this strain comes from? I tried blue permafrost, and liked it very much, but hard to find. I guess it is one of those hidden secrets.

I asked this question on another site and was told that Perma Frost is a cross of Train Wreck and Northern Lights. Was told it is 18% THC, which is fairly high.
I got a hold of some clones also, and my first grow with it was delightful. This strain looks like it is covered with sugar when ripe and ready to harvest, much like your lawn when a heavy frost occurs.
My wife is a medical patient and rates it among her favorites.

Its White Widow X Northern lights. It literally becomes so covered in trichomes it looks as thought it were covered in frost hence the name permafrost. This is a more difficult strain to grow and I wouldn't recommend it for new growers, but I have had it in my garden for a long time and I will keep it always.:bigjoint::leaf: ...Oh heres a pic I took of one of my Permafrost buds a while back.

its from So Oregon. I got it this year from a friend who knows the breeder. it is Trainwreck x Super Dank. it does get covered in Tricomes. sissors have to be cleaned very often or they wont open. while trimming the stems make your fingers so sticky they feel like they are glued together.

pros: super potent, lots of tricomes. i like the smell, but some dont smells a lot like trainwreck. nice high would say its about a 50/50??? needs little to no cure time...dry and smoke. makes great bubble hsh. needs only a light trim.

cons: clones can take up to 4 weeks to root, stems are on the thin side and buds almost always need to be tied up. needs little more P in veg or stems turn purple. mine have been slow to finish, you can take it at 8wks but some let it go to 11wks. i have been pulling it around 9-10 wks. of course some of these can be just my personal situation/environment. its a more leafy than i prefer, but the leaves look like they are diped in sugar. about .5-.6grm per watt. (4-6 branches/tops, lollypoping, supercroping).

i also have not seen much about it either online.

My friend that gave it to me stopped growing it because he didnt like the smell and long clone time, moved onto different strains, but he can always get it back. he even gave me some polin but i didnt work the first time. need to try again, but i have some agent orange, so if i get a male i will prob cross them. trying it outdoors too.

I'm growing it outdoors in Oregon (~46 degrees latitude) and out of the 6 strains I'm cultivating it is the fastest to begin flowering. It isn't even September and it's almost halfway to finishing. I predict a late September harvest. Shiskaberry, Goo, Honey Bear, Hollands Hope have just started putting some hairs out and my permafrost is already covered in large frosty buds. I have a strain called Elvy that is also quick, but not nearly as fast as the Pfrost.
