    Mixed Spectrum Adventure - 2 Room Perpetual HPS/QB & CMH/QB

Rad setup! I REALLY like the CMH/LED setup between the two of mine. You get the benefits of both light spectrums, heat is manageable and it can even be a plus that the CMH increases your leaf temperature to more effective levels that your LED's like.

If you have zero perspective on the situation I would suggest you make it a priority to solve your ignorance before passing judgement.

    Light airy buds... Why ?

OP said 4x HLG65, so amount of light is not a problem. If anything, they need to be careful not to light stress the plants at over 50w LED per sq/ft. My guess is that the light spectrum might be having an effect here. OP, are your HLG65 the 4000k color temperature? I'm not sure if the HLG65...

Do these pictures look clear enough?

Yes, I'd say those are definitely amber trichomes! If you grow under white light, get real close, and your vision is good, you can get a pretty good estimation of cloudy/white/amber with the naked eye. A combination of my phone camera and my own eyeballs works great for me :blsmoke:

    Psychosis anyone?

Schizophrenic here, not too serious and you'd never know in person, but all the same. Years ago I had a long psychosis (months) partially caused by cannabis. Looking back it was obviously from smoking flower cut way too early. "The UK cut" has been popularized in the past, meaning to harvest at...

    Mixed Spectrum Adventure - 2 Room Perpetual HPS/QB & CMH/QB

UPDATE (long time coming): The sunshine daydream is GORGEOUS. This is at F47. Flowers are bulking up with the sugar leaves purpling from the edges in. I really think the 11/13 light schedule I'm running is helping to bring out her colors. I can't wait to see how far she turns.. Smells...

    Circulating fan vs Exhaust fan

It's possible to have too much air movement. My hurricane oscillator is too much for a 4x4. It'll stress young plants even pointed upwards. I just leave it off until the plants are vegged to the canopy netting.

    LED grow price

$2,000 USD is about what a high end 4x4 costs to do. I'd budget $700 on a quality QB/COB LED setup and $300 on tent and ventilation. Make sure to spend $50 or $100 on some nice genetics. The rest will get eaten up by the multitude of small items you'll need to buy. You can do it a lot cheaper...

    The science game.

I think it's the "commercial" growers of the last ten years doing this more than the home growers. Home growers tend to use what they have. I worked for a commercial grower whose philosophy was to spare no expense, top-end everything, THOUSANDS on bottled nutrients every month. The hydro store...

    The science game.

Bro science and the people exploiting it are the problem. "Science" simply means learning through observation and experiment (the scientific method). Think and observe for yourself and growing cannabis becomes a lot cheaper.

USA - MI - Happy Legalization Day!! Dec 6, 2018

Madison Heights, Hazel Park, Warren, St Clair Shores are all solid suburbs ~15 minutes north of Detroit. Typical houses range around $600-$1000/mo to rent. Sterling Heights and Clinton Twp are 25 minutes north, a little nicer and more expensive. Further than that is either very upscale suburbia...

4x8 Tent Set Up-HPS AND BIG YIELDS

0.5 grams/watt would be a decent grow if you're new to this. That's 1,000 grams, 125g per plant. You may be able to pull up to 1 gram/watt with HPS and a dialed in grow.

    Veg bloom or dual

You could definitely use the veg mode until they get a little bigger. You might need to keep the light a little closer. I use QBs but it's the same idea, dimmed down to 50% works great for seedlings and early veg. I flip to full power after a few weeks once the plants have a couple sets of...

    Mixed Spectrum Adventure - 2 Room Perpetual HPS/QB & CMH/QB

SD at F32! Just fattening now.. another month left. I'm seeing some purple come out on the leaf edges. Hoping that this turns out to be a nice dramatic pheno. I've been running an 11/13 light schedule since the second week of flower. The clones for the other room are finally taking shape...

Nectar for the Gullible I'm trying out MegaCrop myself, used Jack's and MaxiGrow before and all work well.

    Mixed Spectrum Adventure - 2 Room Perpetual HPS/QB & CMH/QB

Sunshine Daydream, smooth sailing at F28. No real issues, just bulking up. Feeding a low strength 1 - 2 - 2 formula 3x daily, modified to cut out extra nitrogen. That's why the older growth is darker. The paler green around the flowers is the perfect sexy shade I want to see at this stage...

    Mixed Spectrum Adventure - 2 Room Perpetual HPS/QB & CMH/QB

6x sunshine daydream clones! The three on the left are immature clones taken at the end of veg. The three on the right were taken a few days into flower. You can see the difference in the leaves. Interestingly enough, one of each set is struggling. We'll see if they pick it up. If healthy, all...

    Mixed Spectrum Adventure - 2 Room Perpetual HPS/QB & CMH/QB

The cookies is quite a bit smaller, but REALLY frosting up. I might try to clone this plant again.. but my previous two tries did not take. This one is harder to grow, much pickier about light and nutrients than the sunshine daydream.
