what is wrong with this leave..thats a problem i have just now?

i don't know mate,it could be...i know it's also used in the food industry and you get it in all different strenghts,but if you get your light leak sorted out,you may not even need it. good luck man. happy growing.

drip clean could be similar a really don't know as i've not heard of drip clean..h202 is a kind of steriliser that keeps algae and other growths and bacteria at bay and increases oxygen content..it tells you all about it on that link...i don't know about aluminium foil..just use anything that...

Make sure no light gets in like the other post says light encourages algae growth....algae can cause root rot which atleast can stunt growth and at worse kill it. I use this stuff...that helps keep my res clean and free of organic growth and supposedly increases oxygen how ever i don't know much...

what happens when shock sets in,because i think it has pretty badly,,,,all the leaves a drooping now...is it gonna die?

slightly better results mate,cheaper than buying good soil every time,but a lot more easy to fuck things up...on my first grow in hydro i had 2 in hydro and one in soil as a back up.

thanks lordemo...i was just panicking a little,,i used to grow in soil too,,just trying this dwc out. i am at week three of flower so i'd hate anything to go wrong now. hopefully just shock then.

this is only my second grow in dwc,the first was not too bad a few glitches but got there in the end. my question is i refilled my res and the new water the the roots went into was really cold could this be shock as the leaves have started drooping a little?

the best weed i grew/smoked was from feminized seeds,it was dinafems mazari,great smoke,great yeild.the only time i have had males was from autoflower strains or when i have bought regular seeds.i might have just been lucky but every fem seed i have grown it has been female. i will continue to...

Anyone got any good tips and any strains that have a low leaf ratio...i am just a lazy slob and severly hate trimming buds. any feedback is appretiated people. cheers

once your roots have popped through,the water must be atleast touching the roots.i have to add for anyone else thinking of using this system you can make your own with a bucket with a lid net pots and a fishtank air pump at a fraction of the price.

I have been a soil grower for a couple of years,but recently changed to dwc it's going well. my question is to anyone thats used ionic boost by growth technology,does this really enhance yeilds? any reply is appreciated.

cheers heisenberg....i will not be adding enzimes to this plant as it is 2 weeks into flowering stage,i added a little h202 to the fresh rez but thats all the treatment i can give it just now.

sounds like a good business idea,a discreet plant sitter,a bit like a nanny for kids,except i watch your plants discreetly whilst you go out,i'll do it for $45 an hour???

i think distilled water stands at 7.0ph but can drop when left to sit in open air,the best way would be to just test it mate,after all it's going to change when you add nutrients anyway.

the ones in the dwc will flower also i think.if you think that you have the height and room to keep vegging until the dwc plants are ready to flower i would go for that.
