    DWC first timer (in box)

Well week 4 has been interesting. These gals are growing like weeds... lol funny how you can say that sometimes. So still feeding them on the heavy side. Green RX Solutions grow a/b @ 45ml per 2.5 gal of RO water plus 15ml of bulk to kick them into overdrive like a fat kid chasing the ice cream...

    DWC first timer (in box)

Does this look like it's starting to flower at less then 40 days? Do they really grow this rapidly with this method of growing? Maybe I'm just that lit and shouldn't be gardening at this moment lol. It didn't have this two days ago when I did my weekly water/nutes change.

    DWC first timer (in box)

Week 3 is in the books and now on to week 4. So far the grow is very impressive (IMO being my first attempt). They are about 9 inches tall with some reaching faster then others. It's interesting to see how they grow to fight for the light. I have put in 2.5 gal and added 45ml of part A&B of...

    DWC first timer (in box)

I'll be changing my DWC fluids today and posting the progress. But here's a snap shot of my amature soil grow. Like I said, just water every other day. Planted 2 months ago and here it is. It's 2 different strains by the looks of it because one is shooting up on the left and getting tall. Also...

    1st time DWC

I'm new to this stuff too, but I went with Green RX they have a 2 part grow and 2 part bloom nute package. And you can get the bulk feed to go along with it. So far I'm having rapid results. Fastest I've ever seen it grow. However that could be a big part of DWC. Learning curve for sure. I'll be...

    DWC first timer (in box)

My plan was to veg light them until week 4 water change, during week 4 I had planned on turning on the flower side of the light too, then at the water change of week 5 I figured I'd run bloom light only until they finished. I have read that in these boxes you could run 24/7 both switches. But...

    DWC first timer (in box)

I will definitely keep that in mind. I suppose that this cab if used from seed could be a smart early staging area and in week 4 move the current set up to maybe a 4x4 tent or something similar. Appreciate the input, I'm making notes of suggestions and then researching the options. It's all a...

    DWC first timer (in box)

I've got a fol question. sun leaves are really fighting each other should I trim them and let the thicker fol gather the light or should it sort itself out?

    DWC first timer (in box)

Are you recommending growing clones only in a box? I'm not sure what you mean about growing from seeds.

    DWC first timer (in box)

Week 2 is in the books and onto week 3. I've had some low level foliage have some spotting, slight curling, and a little yellowing. Did a lot of surfing for solutions here in the forums. Adjusted my nuts and they seem to be back on track. The downside is net #8 never took. Tried 2 seeds both...

These fans are 110 c.f.m they have their own adaptor plug so no more computer style 2 color. Plugs directly into a wall socket or timer. I've seen people say leave it on 24/7 but mine is timed with 18/6 same as light.

    DWC first timer (in box)

Well right now I'm not exactly sure. The past few years I've been saving seeds, however, I didn't keep them very well. I didn't separate them or label them, I just put them in a farm to vape baggy I had laying around. I think I'll call this first grow the salad bar lol. I'm hoping that I have...

    My first stealth micro build

Light isn't generating much heat. The 120mm axial fan blows directly across the light, the light has it's own cooling fans, and I did it to help regulate the temps in the box as the locations ambient temp is kept colder. It's also the first attempt at this so I will certainly take in all...

    My first stealth micro build

Have you completed it yet? The fan I used works really well. Flows air right over my light as well as the plants. I can get you the info on it. I got it off of Amazon.

I am currently writing a grow journal located at https://www.rollitup.org/t/dwc-first-timer-in-box.958608/ . Feel free to comment there too. Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks for the input. I forgot to mention the blue mesh filter sheet I cut up. I have the inlet hole covered with a double layer 6"x6" square stapled to the outside of the box that faces the wall. I cut a similar size one for the exhaust port and put it over that to stop any flakes or particles...

    My first stealth micro build

After doing a bit of research across the web I decided to give this a go. So far the box is working like a dream so I figured this would be a good place to share it. My box build inventory list based on using the DWC method. MARS HYDRO Reflector 240W Full Spectrum Grow lights for Indoor...

    DWC first timer (in box)

Do you ScrOG in your box? I made a top line in the box based on what I read about keeping the tops at least 6-8 inches from the light. Wondering if adding netting across the middle of the box would be better to do or do they sort of naturally do that in a set up like this?

    DWC first timer (in box)

Was that dry weight? I might have to duplicate this set up or expand to a larger set up if the yields are that low. While I wouldn't need that much at one time, I think I could be self sustaining if I could have a second box and try to time a split where I was drying once a month. At least...
