You want your 10" duct to split into at least two 6" ducts. If you split into two each 6" duct serves two cool hoods inline. If you can use rigid duct, not the flex kind, and try to do it with the least amount elbows/turns that you can.

Does the split unit have a dehumidify mode where it doesn't heat or cool? Is the high humidity at night when the lights are off? It could just be the mini split isn't running and extracting moisture when it doesn't need to cool the space.

I've been looking at the rigid strips with the leds mounted on a board. DId you use the tape the kind that already has adhesive on one side? Where did you buy it? Ebay has a lot of the flexible strip leds but not a lot of info on the actual leds.

I second the cheap door suggestion +the tray for the floor and vote for whole closet, no tent. The tent just doesn't seem necessary in your situation.
