Update: moved it into the 5 gallon that day and it seems to have recovered well from the topping. However, some of the damn leaves still have the tips pointing down and idk why. I don't think it's a nitrogen toxicity bevause the leaves Arnt dark green. Last watering was just water/calmag/Epsom...

Here's an update. Yesterday I mixed a fresh gallon of 1/2 strength nutes, 1/4 teaspoon Epsom salt, and 5ml calmag. I ph'd it to about 6.8 and watered the plant. I know I'm not overwatering anything because I'm letting it dry out a bit between waterings. It looks way better than yesterday but...
