I have 24 gen 1 280mm 3500 strips. Are the gen 2 and gen 3 that much more efficient than I should upgrade? My space will be a 2x2, I'm running a hlg 185 24a, should I spend the money elsewhere? Using the driver I have how many strips? and in series or parallel

So I have a 4x2 tent with 24 eb280s, I have 2 hlg 185 24a, is the 190ish watts from one driver enough for one plant in a larger pot?

(24) 280mm eb strips, wired in parallel powered by two hlg185-24a drivers.

That's what I did, except I'm going to run 24 strips. 4 channels of 6 strips. Remaining 13 strips shipped from arrow yesterday

Thanks, I'll study the diagrams. What driver or drivers do you recommend for 2 12 strip lights? I think 300 watts is optimal for my 6sq ft space. I know I can run 2 185h 24a and achieve that number. Is it the most efficient setup?

One more question, the 240h-24a has a max current on 10.0a, the 280mm strips have a max of 700ma. . 700 x 12 =8.4a Being the current will be divided will it try and drive the strips at. 840 or just at the max of the strip. Or should I just go with 14 strips per driver and use all the available...
