Flushing promix (soilless) post grow for re-use

I’m meaning to find out methods to rinse 1/3 or 1/2 a bale at a time. Definitely using pots works as you described

Flushing promix (soilless) post grow for re-use

As the title states. I have two large blue Rubbermaid totes that store previously used promix. Now, I know if I flushed my plants perfectly after each grow and pulled out all the root material that the mix should be pretty flushed already. But while I do try and do that there are a lot of...

How many days for seeds to mature

Thanks. Maybe I’ll aim for 5 weeks from pollination then

How many days for seeds to mature

I flipped a bunch of plants to flower 50 days ago I pollinated them 30 days ago and then again maybe a week later just to make sure. I know that nothing is for sure strain to strain but very generally, how many days after pollinating are seeds at peak ripeness? I just found one that was...

    Pollinating with multiple pollen sources

I’m just entering week three of flower. If I pollinate in the next few days, should I go the full 8 weeks? Again, any bud will be made into hash or edibles most likely. Just calling this a seed run

    Pollinating with multiple pollen sources

Thanks for all the suggestions. In the event I choose to play it safe and do 3 runs each with a single pollen, is there a better way to distribute pollen in a vial(s) to cover everything in the tent other than with a brush? I’m thinking of dumping a few vials onto a folded piece of paper and...

    Pollinating with multiple pollen sources

Thanks for the suggestions so far. Thinking I may pull out one plant of each strain and pollinate all 3 with one pollen and then leave them out for a few hours, wash them down and return them to the tent. Next day or two do it again with another pollen and finally, do it again for the third...

    Pollinating with multiple pollen sources

I may just do this. I’d certainly only do one pollen type per plant. I have just enough plants of each strain to hit each one with its own pollen to get max different strains. I’m considering what You’ve described…. Certainly saves time and money if done super carefully

    Pollinating with multiple pollen sources

But wouldn’t the fan blast pollen from plant to plant? I’m not seeing how you could ever be confident after painting multiple pollens on plants in the same tent that it wouldn’t just be a mess of seeds and a crapshoot as to labelling them. Seems akin to open pollinating a tent but with three...

    Pollinating with multiple pollen sources

I’m doing a side project in a 3x3 tent to make seeds. The lowdown: I’m using a single 315w bulb in a 630 cmh fixture with 11 plants in small containers. I’m not worried about the amount of light or bud produced. This is a seed run. I’m running 3 different strains all at once. All three...

Cloud line t series vs a series

after chatting with a rep I’ve decided to go with what was suggested in this post. I’m going with the S8 fan with the 8” filter and I’ll pick up the wifi 69 controller once it comes out. The wifi version has not yet been released. Thanks everyone!

/bump Anyone? Great responses so far.

Cloud line t series vs a series

Great idea. I’m torn between the two fan/controller options atm. I’ll see if anyone else chimes in. *** also, is it ok to pair a 807cfm fan with a 770cfm filter? I know these fans can be dialed down but don’t you generally want a higher cfm filter than fan so that the fan isn’t blasting air...

Cloud line t series vs a series

I acquired a new 4x8x6.7’ ac infinity tent and plan to use it as my flower tent and want great exhaust for this. A bit overkill is ok. I just don’t want any smell. I’m venting a straight shot out a basement window with maybe one 45 bend and a total duct length of maybe 3-4’ I’m considering...

thanks for the link. I saw that one in my first Amazon search but I’ve never had an intermittent timer so I wasn’t sure if that’s what I wanted. Good to know!

thanks for the reply any recommendations on a timer? I’d like to pick one up on Amazon

    Intermittent timer needed for aerocloner?

Just built my first aerocloner. It’s running fine but no plants in it yet. I know that most people seem to run an aerocloner with an intermittent timer set to one minute on: 4 minutes off. Or something similar. My understanding is that this is largely do to the fact that if you ran the pump...
