Building Veg Lights for 2x4 Trays, 2 QB 132's Enough?

More info... the trays are in an open space with reflective walls, but this is not a tent environment where all light will be able to be reflected and not wasted. The mothers will be roughly 5 feet tall. Planning to run 2 mothers per 2x4 tray to allow for constant cloning without causing too...

Building Veg Lights for 2x4 Trays, 2 QB 132's Enough?

Hey all. 2x4 trays work really well for the space trying to illuminate. Will be keeping vigorous mothers in the trays. Was thinking, 2 QB132's (4000K) ran at full power over each 2x4 tray. Would this be enough to sustain vigorous mom's with proper VPD, CO2, etc, or is this just under what...

Where can you find reliable & UNBIASED information about LED lighting?

Some people... lol You ask for better info on LED's... willing to spend $36K on lights Won't even click on a link to Quantum Board based HLG fixtures or COB Fixtures...

Russet Mite Success Stories... Anyone? Am I Dead Meat?

To answer the question of what happened: What did I do, and what I recommend anyone who discovers them in their garden: I ripped out and destroyed the plant which was heavily infested. Immediately sprayed them with Nuke Em, with HEAVY spraying in the areas directly next to the plants which...

    Leaves Twisting & Curling Up/Down

I still don't see any signs of mites... At the lower nodes I don't see mites damage, I see nutrient/pH issues.

    4 5x5 tents

Don't bother with the fluorescents. You want explosive growth so that you can have a very quick and rapid veg before flip. I recommend a Horticultural Lighting Group (HLG) fixture for sure. Very strong light intensity, no heat production.

    4 5x5 tents

Honestly the best advice in the thread so far. I agree with all the pro's and con's. It sounds like in your situation, running everything on two cycles is not possible. Therefor, I think you should decide if these pro's and con's work for you... and if they do, go for it.

Yellowing leaves 5 weeks into flower

I Am I an idiot? I guess I found out that this morning, indeed, yes I am. I may have gotten confused with another thread I was thinking of in multiple tabs... Dunno. Either way, I completely misread things. You're in hydro, which I have no experience with, and therefore I shouldn't even be...

Yellowing leaves 5 weeks into flower

Honestly you are being lazy for not testing your runoff PPM's, and your plants are punishing you for it. It's likely that there is and has been an issue with the PPM's, and a quick runoff test would have solved it. A milkcrate under the pot with a bowl underneath to catch the run off works great.

    Leaves Twisting & Curling Up/Down

A bite taken out? Mites don't take chunks out of your foliage. Did you confirm you had spider mites? The Azamax can definitely burn your plants and cause weird growth, as WILL the Green Cleaner. Green Cleaner ALWAYS upsets my plants for a few days. The issue is the citric acid has an extreme...

    4 5x5 tents

I understand what you are going with with the cooling. You can have one AC unit potentially powering all the tents, and run many more lights off of that one AC unit. However, you are making the system really complicated to band aid your main issue, lack of cooling. When you are deep into it...

Russet Mite Success Stories... Anyone? Am I Dead Meat?

I hope this is me in a few weeks down the road... Hitting them Forbid 4F, PFR 97, Forbid 4F, PFR 97, Forbid 4F and then drop in the Swirskii's.

Russet Mite Success Stories... Anyone? Am I Dead Meat?

Hey all. I was extremely proud of how both of my rooms were doing. Kicking ass, running better than ever. Then today, BAM. Out of nowhere, I see a plant with dying pistils. I rush to pull it out of the canopy. Go straight for the digital scope and laptop. Immediately on the plant I find the...

5 weeks into flowering, strange brown spots on top leaves; help!! (Pics attached)

Right, which could be caused by nutrient lockout. Always a good idea to first make sure you pH is on point, and if so, raise the feeding PPM's.

Setting Up a Small Growroom - Environmental Control

Running sealed with CO2 enrichment during the day and heavy venting during lights off is a good plan. Ideally I think not involving your extra room would be best. Just fresh air in, filtered air straight out.

    My grow room from scratch

Nice work! Building rooms is really fun, as long as it's for hobby level stuff at least. It's fun to get everything the way you want it, and then gradually optimizing it to the point that it's your favorite place to be.

    Early signs of something wrong

Every photo I've seen of that plant thus far has been with the media soaking wet. Stop watering your plant so heavily. It needs to DRY OUT to encourage the roots to explore, and so that they get enough oxygen. Cannabis wants and needs a wet/dry cycle. Foliar spray with Canna Rhizotonic and let...
