There are many reasons this isn't working... first being that the inductive clamp on top is what is used to determine AC current... supposedly to a very high rating according to the listing. Second being you are measuring the current in the wrong location. You want to measure current at the wall...

Check the datasheet for your driver at full load, multiply by number of drivers, select a fuse/breaker of roughly 10-20% greater value. :cool:

The Gen 7 SE have poke-in connectors that accept 18ga. wire, even simpler!

I figure if I can get most of the light directed down in one bounce off the reflector, rather than possibly quite a few of the tent walls, that's a plus.

Yeah, I'm not sure how I feel about them. I've ditched the F&D system for top feed though, so I've got a lot more vertical space now.

They do, but they're pretty much silent. I really can't hear them over the exhaust and circulation fans. Much quieter than I was expecting

Yes. What you should look for is actual PPF numbers posted by the manufacturer. The increase in micromoles per joule seen in recent LED technology is the reason why some newer fixtures can actually back up the claims of "replacing a 1000w HPS." Companies like HLG, PLC, Fluence, Nextlight, hell...

Consider the commercial grower, or rather, where commercial growing is headed. Just like every other industry, at the top level margins are razor thin. A couple of percent difference in yield or quality can have a huge impact on the profitability of a giant farm. It pays dividends for these...

If you're doing just fine with two 600s, you could replace them with two roughly 400w LED fixtures, and have about the same amount of light. If you replace your two 600s with 1200w of LED, you'll probably have about 30-40% more photons available to your plants. The question is, do you want/need...
