there are cfls designed for growing called envirolite cfls check them out see if you can get them they go into a normal hps reflecter only you dont need a ballast you use a kettle lead instaed

you are only going to get them lumens if the lights are real close to the plants becuse cfls do lose power far more than you would think.GET THEM CLOSE

sounds a bit like you havent let them dry long enough when your hanging them.normally i would get a bit of grassy smell when i chop the plant and hang it think it might be chlorine or chloraphil im not sure

if you see a male just get rid of it incase you mess your hole crop up better to have a lot of female buds than have male plant hash.all male are good for is to breed with they pollinate females and turn your crop to seeds

dunno man i have 2 double sockets i can work with 1 beside my room to run the contacter timer the other i run an extension lead for my fans..you can get hevy duty extension leads in bnq if you have 1 :) peace lol man you should get plenty of help on here more people than me and you have to use them

man i dont want to be giving you more advise cause dont know what your planning on hooking up to the contactor i only use it for a hps ballast and thats it i have fans on timers running off a different socket.

hi i use canna nutrients they are probly the biggest brand name in the hydro game in this part of the world. but i understand what you are saying about bnq they have a lot of plant foods but im not familiar with them personally.

my first grow was seeds gave to me from bags of weed and 4 seeds 4 females and 1 of them was real quality weed and the other 3 was good stuff..i aint complaining but if id a bought them strains ida probly grew 4 of the real quality gear :) i say go for the good strain take some of the quess work...

i have 1 of these too they are handy and are real cheap too if you are using cfls stick it beside a 20 watt cfl and see the big difference in light out put.you cant really get a good measurement on anything bigger than whatever it goes up to but handy anyway for people using bulbs indoors seeing...

ive a cheapo timer its just you need a contactor to run a timer off a ballast thats all. if you have a contctor timers shud only cost you 3 quid if you look for them

the way i do it have them in small square pots first week then when theres roots coming out the bottom i transplants into 11 and a half leter pots.Thats when they seem to really start growing then about 2 to 3 weeks l8r im into flower with them but i use clones. hope this helps
