Ive done a little searching while i've waited for responses and I have found a lot of conflicting answers. Some posts claim a purple stem is due to a lack of nutrients or potassium. Others say it's a rare genetic trait that occurs in some strains. Anyone else have advice on my questions/problems?

Thanks for all the great replies guys! I'm wondering now if since I'm growing in a soiless mix, do I need to keep my pH in the 5.5-6.2 range? Or since its not a true hydro I need to shoot for the soil pH of 6.2 - 6.8?

I just got the whole line of BMO ferts. I'm growing in a soiless mix. What feeding schedule do you use. My plants just sprouted and are about 1in and I havent given them anything.

I'm planning on starting a DWC grow and I have some Foxfarm Grow Big that I was mixing to water to water my soiled plants. I'm going to start a few in rockwool and i'm wondering if the foxfarm grow big will work thanks
