If it absolutely HAD to go down. You could put it in a different/further room and build an enclosure around it near the window you would use to vent heat. That would isolate it from the room, and would be very near the same thing as it being outside. Vibration still sucks, but if outside is...

It would generate extreme heat inside the room the condenser is in. Also there is not 100% efficiency between condenser and evaporator. So unless the grow area is completly isolated with a thermal barrier, heat soak from condenser may render the whole mini split useless. Also to be considered...
