    Intake and Exhaust

To my understanding your intake should be 1/3 the speed of exhaust. I rock a semi passive intake with a fan near it to pull air in and make the ladies dance. The higher exhaust speed makes a nice negative pressure in the cabinet. Pulls air in nice and keeps Temps down.

    DMT

I'll draw up and post a rough sketch of the thing I saw here in a bit. Was quite a trip. I love the euphoric feeling after the trip just as much as the trip. Dmt basically unlocks all your sensory organs to their true potential and allows you to perceive much more of the existence around you...

    Nirvana seeds and other forums

What's up guys? I started this thread to find guys who have experience with Nirvana shop strains. I've done lots of reading on various forums and I've seen mixed reviews on Nirvana. Many posts I've read have to deal with poor germination rates or just unhealthy plants in general, yet Ive...

Why is miricle Grow so hated on?...

Yep, you are correct. It does depend on the soil. Though, most people buy potting soil that has plenty of nutes (hence you get the burn or toxicity issues with new growers) Like I stated previously, you gotta do a little research and have an understanding of your grow variables.

Why is miricle Grow so hated on?...

Miracle-Gro nutrients tend to be strong and burn the plants. Add the time released nutrition, and you have a very stressed plant. However I started using their Natures Care line of organic garden soil and I am having awesome results. The roots look amazing and white. It's a very fluffy and...

DIY COB: what do you use to build your frames?

Aluminium angle or channel is your best bet for a lighting fixture. It just has so many advantages over other materials(strength, weight, thermal conductivity, etc). However many materials would do fine for housing. Just really depends on your design and financial means as to what materials...

Questions about Diy led fixtures and ebay cobs

Yep, I plan on make the bar a wee big longer. I have plenty of channel left for fixture building. I plan on upgrading after I finish two plants under the first fixture then using it as a work bench light once obsolete The 2nd one will have more spread and more, better cobs.

Questions about Diy led fixtures and ebay cobs

I have a infrared laser thermometer. So you say point it directly at the light emitting surface? What should be the operating temp range? I was measuring the temp of the sink right next to the cob and the cobs thermal pad. Thanks for the input.

    Marshydro 300 beginner questions

For flowering I would completely agree, but I personally had 3 nice bushy indies under a 300w in a 2x2 and they loved it for veg.

Questions about Diy led fixtures and ebay cobs

I already have all the cobs plus plenty extras. I have an extra 50 watt driver that can be hooked up but I will need another heat sink and fan combo. BTW I have been getting good results with these very abundant intel cpu heat sinks. I get the model with the copper core for $7 a piece and have a...

Questions about Diy led fixtures and ebay cobs

So I decided to make a quick 3d model of my fixture I made that holds the 100ws and 50w cob. I'll make my red only fixture here in a bit. Alright this probably was the best way to post them but it was the quickest. I kinda color coded it. The LEDs are the yellow squares, the heat sink and fan...

    mars hydro

I completely agree. I have the Mars Hydro 300w with the 5w diodes and I have been getting great results from tomatoes and cannabis plants. I wouldn't be confident in flowering more than one plant at a time though, but it's great for veg.
