    Is 1 gallon too small??

Care to share a bit more about how your DWC veg process? You seem to imply that you switch to a different tub or room, which is what I'm currently wrestling with. Do you have any issues with roots tangling and being difficult to transfer to their flowering location? Much appreciated.

    The Vegdrobe / Vegging Wardrobe

Looking pro. Is that an air intake we see behind the little clonies? Solid work. I'm looking into a similar veg cab, but I'm looking to get a used wall cabinet, probably 24" wide x 30" high, hopefully deeper than 12", but whatever I can find for free on craigslist.

    cfl v t5

I currently run a couple of the cfl's in my veg cab nearly exactly as you pictured, and I'm considering going to a small T5 rig, or better yet as church haze mentioned a 4xcob outfit. But if I'm going to dive into my first led cob, I want that bad boy to toss straight into the flower room!

    Easy Change 125mm Ducting Collar?

See this is what I love about the challenges that crop up in this hobby and this site in particular. Really nice, innovative solution that was [I'm assuming] the result of a stimulating/fun problem-solving process. Thanks for posting this! I'd love to see more digital fabrication used in grow...

    Easy Change 125mm Ducting Collar?

This is a pretty cool solution! Fairly cost effective, but the process is half the fun. Really strange timing, I just spent the last 45 minutes researching those hobby size/consumer 3d printers. Would be a blast to play around with, pretty spendy though. You mind sharing what site you used...

    Newbie Ventilation Guide

I find that these forums a great place for canni specific horticultural info and when it gets into technical systems info identify the specific terms and installation types, then cross reference against google/youtube. However many of the best tutorials and progressive concepts (go nerd out on...

New Loft Grow Room - Input Appreciated

I think you gotta give your rdwc system at one more run! You've got a pretty complex kit put together and knew there'd be some tuning. Your decision and design processes have been sound and you hit a hiccup. You now have at least some semblance of a working solution and can continue to dial...

12 plants. 15lbs a harvest. cost effective. go!?

Haha, I like this thread :) The OP did start with little context and pretty lofty target yields, but dude has shown himself to be doin work. I consider myself safely established into the "novice" grow-tier, running dwc LED scrog, so take that for what it's worth as I don't do vert, but looking...

    12x12 Basement Grow Room

Exciting times. Some advice from a relatively new grower myself: Start small. I started with only 3 feminized seeds and started them as mothers in soil. I began taking clones and finding my way in hydroponics and I have (for now!) settled in with DWC but frequently have soil babies going as...

How to do a 3 cycle perpetual harvest

I'm aiming toward similar thing. I keep a half dozen closes in the veg box with the same number of vegging dwc's in 5" net pots in foldgers plastic tubs with small airstones, about 5 weeks ahead of them. Then moved to the flower room which isn't divided but 2 groups/stages of budding plants...

Nirvana Hybrid Fem Mix - Thoughts

Greetings connisseurs! I'm looking at this Nirvana mix.. I've used Nirvana fem seeds before and I only have a couple grows under my belt, but I've done Northern Lights and a Sativa (Raspberry Cough). I'm looking for better yield as I'm perpetual but want to mix it up a bit. Just 1 fem'd seed...

    Perpetual Harvest/SOG Question

I'm literally sitting here with a bowl on my screen porch early spring brainstorming my (entirely finished, yet improvable haha) basement garden. I DWC veg in the big plastic folgers coffee cans in 5" net cups and roots, top 2x and flower. Never screened but I want to try a 6 plant scrog above...

    Perpetual Harvest/SOG Question

Budley - This is exactly the issue I'm dealing with; basically that vegged clones are ready to flower when their flowering clones are only halfway done. I do have 2 lights (a 1200w LED and a better 300w LED) so I've got 2 sides to my flowering room (since they're both on 12/12 anyway it doesn't...

    Perpetual Harvest Veg/Flower Balance?

Exactly Mommasmoke. I know I can't really dial it in perfectly, just trying to figure a gameplan, which I think I have. I may end up going to more of a rolling/flexible schedule, with plants in multiple stages of flowering like you suggested. The challenge being getting full use of my light...

    15 inches of clearance

Agreed, as others noted above, training will be critical and do everything you can to keep it short/squat. Mainlining and then tying shoots down w/ lst will should do well. Be sure to flip to flower early for stretch. At some point you can switch to smaller chords directly above rather than...

    Perpetual Harvest Veg/Flower Balance?

Greetings growers! The primary limitation in by flower room (basement, behind 2 locked doors, 4.5'w x 6.5'l x 7't, mylar walls, sealed, soundproofed, carbon-filtered, kinda proud (:) is useful light cover (300w platinum LED & 1200w China LED, probably ideally about 2.5'x4.5') and access around...
