So you are shooting for 1000g in 11sq ft with 600w? I just built my new grow space and it is 12sq ft with 600w so I will be watching.

Strain is a GSC cross my friend made and I backcrossed last grow to produce these seeds that I call "Uncle Fucker". I plan to soak them in water for 24 hrs, then put them in individual cups with a layer of hydroton in the bottom and the rest coco. They will go in a 3'x4' flood tray under a mix...

Does the math equate to real world measurements? Reason I ask is the 400w HPS shoots lights out all around, I wonder if the plant sees them as close as the math or if COBs are much higher being directional.

I read your sarcasm but you'd be surprised by how many people think you can ventilate a tent or closet(or fridge) into a small closed off bedroom. It may work for some but not all, just putting it out there. You'll be fine in the basement Kevin. I helped build a stand up freezer grow once back...

Also make sure the room that the fridge is in has adequate airflow and ambient temps. I would remote mount the drivers on the outside of the fridge. Love the thread name.

Drill sizes come in LETTER, NUMBER, FRACTIONAL and METRIC. You can get close by eyeballing or you can google drill bit tap size chart and see exactly what size is recommended. Also, there's an app for that. ;)
