    None of the LEDs you need to grow are cheap. If heat is an issue and you don't have the clearance for and HPS/MH then stick with CFLs. As far as height on your plants themselves... You can always do LST. Most autos will be shorter though.... And should be fairly forgiving for your first grow...

    yea, im tracking... do more of a step system than just dropping them into the abyss. so you don't think I can salvage my autos? just stick with my photo in the DWC?

    it looks like you're using coco and hydroton? I'm using an Oasis cube, and then waiting for roots to show out the bottom, then I put them in. I see what you're saying as far as getting a good root ball first though. Should I just put the oasis cube surrounded by hydroton in the cup and spray...

    So here are my girls... I've got two autos on an Ebb and Flow tray and one photo in a dwc bucket. I maintain the RH between 40-60% depending on how much I'm in and out of my room.
