    dying growth tips

So, I decided to SOG one light and within two or three days I noticed discoloration on new foliage. No signs of pH imbalance, nothing on older leaves, just on the growth tips. Within a week, they turned brown. Has anyone seen this? Everything else in the room is fine, the growth tips degraded to...

    perlit,how much should i use

Frankly, it really boils down to preference. When I used to do use soil, about 50% was what i would like to mix in. However, the more perlite you had, the higher your watering frequency you have and less of a buffer for pH and EC fluctuations. So if you are planning on using Chem nutes, and...

Help buying EC or PPM meter

Blue lab Combo Meters are the ones i use. I've gone through just about every other brand, and blue labs malfunction the least. They are not that expensive, especially when you consider how important it is what you are measuring.

    how to fight the stretch

the only research i have found that paclo caused cancer is when it was fed orally to lab rats. On the EPA's PDF that i could find, it says it has been banned for food crops because there are "No tolerances since it has no food uses." , not that it is toxic for human consumption. And primarily...

    lollipop and nutes

Mostly, the green parts of a plant are photosynthetic algae and bacteria that traps the energy of sunlight for photosynthesis. i prefer flower sites to photosynthesize. Stripping plants of their fan leaves at specific intervals in flowering is not uncommon. i understand why you feel a need to be...

This is my first attempt at medical indoor grow...Pls leave tips or advice.

well an 8x9 room is much too large of an area for only a 400w light. the standard is 4x4 for every 1000w light. you should scale down the area you are trying to grow in to be appropriate for only 400w, like 3x3 or less. if you try to illuminate that large of an area with so little light you will...

    lollipop and nutes

feed them just as you normally would. I not only strip growth tips from the bottom third along with fan leaves, i also completley remove ALL fan leaves the first and fourth week of flowering and feed very heavily. The plant does not need to "recover" because you are simply making it concentrate...

    re-vegging to keep genetics

Genetics dont change, you are correct. However, in my experience, vigor can be reduced when taking cutttings from stressed mother plants. And revegging a plant not meant to be a perenial puts a lot of stress on her.

    re-vegging to keep genetics

Ive revegged a few plants. It always seemed to have some reduction in vigour and quality. Also, it takes quite a while for proper branches to form as to clone off of. My advice, find a new clone.

    Getting some yellowing on plant.

By how they look droopy i would think overwatering, the very bottom leaves dying off is normal. Check your ph, if not, up your nitrogen feeding a little.
