how do we know which nutrients are for veg and which are for flowering..

I was thinkin Indica indoors what are your thoughts? and should i keep the same strain for a whole grow or is it ok to find plants of very similar height(due to light length from plants problem) and mix.

would you say 400 or 600 watts for 4 plants? the 600 would be dimmable from 50% 75% and of course can go full 100%

I'll definitely consider that one..another question..do plants have to have extra nutrients like fertilizers and or expensive bottled liquid substances with the cliche names like "big buds" or "big bloom"? can i just grow with good soil good light and water?
