Yes the water here is really hard ( west galt)and is dirty as well..I have two pre sediment filters before it gets to the R/O system,and they are black in a couple of weeks of use.

I’m in Cambridge where the ppm is around 600 out of the tap..I use 80% R/O then top it off with municipal water..just enough to bring the ph value to 6.0 after adding my nutrients.

I’ve been doing this for 15+ years and have never had a problem.The salts are totally removed with the vinegar and a hot wash.

I germinated my packs of 79 S1 and 81 S1 as well as the cross of both(3 free with every pack ordered)..I was also gifted a 10 pack of the 79 x sour deisel regulars which i also germinated.

The last seeds I grew that stunk up the neighborhood (with mountain air carbon filters) was the Holy grail kush from DNA …but as with the sensi star it was a reg seed pack and the female version is not the same..it was an extremely hard hitting,day wrecking weed,I only used it after 10pm as it...

It was the best of the seeds that I ran from them..yields were nice and but I found zero skunk in any of the six females..

I grew the skunk 85 among others

She stunk in veg too,i would notice when transplanting short and squat plant that was very pest resistant too!

I’ve grown the feminzed version out several times ..it’s not the same at all

late nineties Sensi Star from paradise seeds it was a regular seed pack..it was the stinkiest seed I’ve ever grown pure skunk and a very hard hitting effect
