Original post If you use ducting between the filter and the reflector you won't have the hassle of balancing them as you raise the light. And if you're willing to do something like this you could save money by buying a cheap fan.

Also the airflow in the ducting will be slower which might mean less noise.

You could use one of these on the reflector and 5" ducting from it to the fan. :)

Ok, there has been alot of rainfall recently so that could've had an effect. Been spraying regularly with neem oil and hoped that would've prevented any infestations... maybe I should up the dose. Thanks!

Everything ive read says you should leave the soil mix for a few weeks before using it or risk burning but I don't think I can do that as it's nearly august now. So could i apply the bone as a tea instead Finally if this was you what proportions would you use? Im guessing for 42 gallons 1 part...
