    Best C99 seed

Doesn’t make sense to vote unless you tried both. I haven’t tried moscas or grima, But C99 is an awesome little hybrid that flowers fast, taste great, and smoke like a an energetic sativa. Have grown several in coco with canna nutes, and cured - the smell resembles Coca-Cola candy.

Bridgelux EB gen2 DIY light - add supplemental 660+730 (deep&far) LEDs there?

You could definitely ad some 630 and 660 and dim it down a bit to increase gr/w I would go with a slightly higher ratio of 660 since that’s where your 3500 are a bit weak. As you write driving the Leds low and keeping them cool helps with efficiency. For good efficiency I would go with ~30 %...

Bridgelux EB gen2 DIY light - add supplemental 660+730 (deep&far) LEDs there?

slightly faster flowering, slightly more stretch and slightly better gr/w. Do it if you have the money and time, and think it’s fun!

    Female seeds c99

I run 12/12 from seed and just harvested a Cindy. She isn’t dried yet but believe that I quite accurately can eyeball her to 30-40 grams, possibly more.. not the biggest plants I’ve grown this way but super dens buds, much tighter than most indicas I’ve grown.. She’s in the front of this trio...

    Cannapot.com ?

Sorry about your experience. I also got really offended about their tone. My feeling was that I was dealing with dealer on the corner rather than the customer support of a serious company. I was given “fast green crack” instead of “green crack” and they kept asking if there was anything wrong...

    Cannapot.com ?

Cannapot sent me the wrong seeds and now wants me to buy them with a 25% discount before they send me the seeds I already payed for “for free”. Very generous indeed.

    Hot Diggity's Lab

I would also love to hear you out on your conclusions after trying som many strains. What ratios of sativa/indica (I know those numbers can be hard to establish at times) seem to work best for this method? Amherst Sour Diesel seem to be winner in your book, that’s 80% Sativa according to the...

Hi digit! Cool to see that you are up and running again! The last grows really look fantastic! And amazing to have so many strains at once! Seems like you’re constantly improving and changing thithings up! Have you ever tried drip emitters, RTW? In my experience, and from what I’ve read it’s The...

Another side by side....by side HPS VS DE HPS VS COB LED

Yeah that. Especially the AC. When I ran 1200 watts of hps the temp drop "at night" also caused a sharp spike in humidity which gave me mold in my biggest donkey-dick. 70 dried grams to waste. :(

Another side by side....by side HPS VS DE HPS VS COB LED

Hm, interesting will look in to that.. wonder if it holds true for Coco/hydro as well.. Higher temps during night than day is also supposed to help against the stretch.

Another side by side....by side HPS VS DE HPS VS COB LED

Yeah, HPS does deliver.. The heat and humidity that comes along with it can be a bitch though.. just as the stretch.. depending on your grow situation.. Maybe an hps with extra 440 or - few added 6000 k cobs, to counter the Stretch, would kick even more ass..?

Another side by side....by side HPS VS DE HPS VS COB LED

My guess is that The HPS outperformed The LEDs This time... maybe the decades of breeding under HPS-spectrum have caused MJ to utilize, for plants, abnormally high amounts of the orange spectrum? My guess is that leds would outperform hps if light was less abundant than in this grow op.. that...

    12/12 From Seed Experiment - 21 Strains

Sweet looking plants! (yup, a bit lankie, but that may change!) I'd say that your high plant density is one big reason for the stretch. I do be believe that the stretch will be a bit less pronounced if you get more intra canopy-light. Either by lowering the plant density, or by letting small...

    First grow, advice welcomed!

The bigger the Clones are, the more sensitive they will be to low RH. You can cut part I leafs away to minimize evaporation from plants. I used to put small seedlings in rockwool cubes and put them under a dome.. That always made the trick for me.

    12/12 From Seed Experiment - 21 Strains

That's not so far away, if anything it's probably the lights that are in the edges that could use a bit more light.. I found the "adjust-a-wings" doing a very good job at spreading the light evenly over 100-110x120 cm. sorry for metric measure. To tired to re-calculate.. A bit expensive though...

    12/12 From Seed Experiment - 21 Strains

If you have trouble with low RH during "ligh on", rather than high RH during lights of, I would recommend you to build a "swamp cooler". Google it. You could also connect fans in the swamp cooler to a hygrostat.. MJ plants can take a lot of abuse but when they are small they really don't grow...

    12/12 From Seed Experiment - 21 Strains

I wouldn't recommend defoliation even if it's possibly good in some cases.. Better to find strains that work well without all that extra work.. I would concider snipping off the lower branches if they start to take of.. If they stay short and don't start to compete with tops I'd leave them as...

    12/12 From Seed Experiment - 21 Strains

This This is absolutely normal. It's called relative humidity (RH) because the amount of water the air can hold is relative to the temperature.. If temps drop RH will get higher.. If the difference in temp and RH is to big you're plants are seriously suspicious to mold. Adding a heater during...
