I'm running a similar veg unit, it sprays 30min, off or 1.5hr, with a air stone, seems to be working great, As for the pipe system, I capped the end off creating more of a "deep flow tech", I'll be upgrading my res I a much larger size and setting up a second unit, I'll let you know how it goes
