if you go to lowes or home depot they sell a deer and rodent repellent its made mostly of garlic and some other things that they just cant stand the smell or taste of, its completely harmless to your plants, just soak them down pretty good when you have a little dry spell so rain doesnt wash it...

the leaves curling up in your first pic could be a magnesium deficiency, mine did the same thing and i added a few spoonfuls of epsom salts to my water and it cleared it right up nice idea with the dishwasher by the way ;-)

well i ended up having to replant different seeds cuz i planted those to deep, way to deep (rookie mistake). then i changed my lights around, i did take the tube out and i went and bought 2 42w cfl's and have 5 23w, and then i had to rearrange them a bit. they've been in the ground 3 days now...

ok so i right now i have 4 23w cfl's and one of those 24" fluorescent grow lights from wal-mart. i just planted the seeds a day and a half ago after they germinated, 6 plants total in gallon clay containers. 2 of the cfl's are in 8 1/2" reflectors hanging 6" directly above the pots and the other...
