I'm having an extremely low rate of success. I've tried 15-20 in rapid rooters and only 2 have worked. 2 others grew roots, but failed over time. I'm getting a lot of embolisms. How deep into soil do you put them? And how do I prevent embolisms?

I change the water every couple days.. the first 3 probably had the same water. The temp is relatively cool probably 60-65 degrees since it's in water. It's been 7-10 days and no sign of roots. I'll keep posting. The center is still white/green and the outside edge is browned all the way...

That would likely grow 6 from the looks of it. The bottom two would likely be 3" when the others are 5"

Yea it's like that. I've noticed the fish tank smell also, but that's been taken care of. So I'll check the watering and back it off for a week and see what happens.
