lighting : using 12 40 watt T-12 full day light 4ft florescent tubes, plant seems to be eating itself to keep up this growth, only its not 12/12 yet maybe an auto flower ? got it from crappy and cheap Cannabisseeds (only 3 of 12 popped)

just a CFL T-12 daybulb ghetto setup, basically all same soil and nutes, till i tried to juice it up ... don't laugh it works ...

not 12/12 yet , trying to get it green again 1st, young leaf tips r burned ? almost white it's like it's on growth steroids

1st week added N nutes 2nd week flushed 2X 3rd week transplanted bigger pot with fresh soil, super flushed still getting worse, it's a K2 and i'd like to save it ....

as i said, try it in a controlled experiment, i have a couple times ...

u get a better yield,approx 20-25% if u trim most the fans at 12/12 time, (assuming a vigorous plant) try it yourself, u may be surprised

yep, if u got heavy veg, start at the bottom and start letting in the light, a node a day or two but only after 2-3 weeks into 12/12, when its past the growth spurt

the brick is right about his science and that's it's a truly tough weed, but i say u can increase ur yield by pruning and training a healthy plant with no ill effects, just took it down yesterday

i wish, here's an update, i only remove good fans to promote branching in veg, or in flowering to allow more light in but only a few at a time

heres what cutting fans does 4 me, like my cola tree ? , u can't even see the main one, about 3 ft in diameter 3 ft high

i grow WW and used to top 2X, now do the opposite, pinch lower fans asap to branch out, makes a 2 1/2 ft xmas tree covered in bud, currently 3 mos , week or so left

brick top, dont the stalks have straw like tubes that feed certain leaves or branches, u cut a leaf, that tube is still flowing nutes so it sprouts a branch, mine look like a 3 ft xmas trees, fully decorated in white caus more light gets thru ... but what ever works for ya

yup, taking lower fans off a healthy plant only encourages branching, used to top now my branches look like colas from nipping fans asap, if it's lush veg trim it current 3 month old CFL widow ghetto gro

u will need 3 X 3 foot space, ie closet this widow is a CFL ghetto grow, 3 mos old, i expect 3 z's dry

as long as u got enough strong veg going, start pinching those lower fans to promote branching, 3-4 weeks, just do a node every few days, a good strong plant will bush like crazy, ie 8 week widow, and some fans, cut near the top note how the bottom filled in
