To hermie or not to hermie

Seasoned grower: Your plant is only going to hermie if you've got a serious light leak during flower or "bad" genetics. If a plant hermies from the environment its in you've got no business growing in the first place. I thought that was a pretty bold statement and wanted to get further...

clone clipped from a flowering plant

I've heard this is a not-so-ideal practice so I had never done it but a veteran grower offered premium genetics as just that so naturally, sure! I'll do my best. 1 week in water then straight into the dirt, its been weeks now and it seems to be still flowering. New pistils and a sweet odor at 5"...

    Male or female?

That thing is not mature enough to show sex. That medium just doesnt look cozy in the slightest and it looks like its starving for light. Unless you do some serious reading and educate yourself in the basics that thing won't have a chance. Just being honest

    flowering?

Not enough info to solve the problem, so many things to consider to answer that question and even then its an educated guess, your probably SOL unless you have at least another few weeks... I wouldn't recommend transplanting but you gotta do what you gotta do GL

    Reflective Effectiveness

Right, so say the CFL is an inch away from the mylar, how far will the light go from there? Just assume that its not even worth having if the plant is more than an inch or two away from the reflecter? Is that accurate?

Damage from cats eating my plants

During a weekend getaway to the Big Apple shout out to Brooklyn, my cat chomped on a lot of the lower leaves of my baby(2 full weeks in flower, 1.5' tall , 30+ bud spots, doing nicely) Some of the leaves were mangled and bitten in half! She seems unaffected by it but infection still worries...

    The Art of Tipping

I been tipping the shit outta my clones and they're still alive. 1 week in water on a window sill then put right into a soil/perlite 50/50 med 3 days-ish ago and still sitting on a window sill with some supplemental CFLs till midnight. Not the prettiest girls ya ever seen but they're hangin in...

    Reflective Effectiveness

I've read a good amount about the distance in which a CFL bulbs' light will travel/penetrate and its not overly impressive. example you have a 4' x 4' x 4' box lined with mylar or whatever else with a plant approximately 3' tall 1.4' wide in the middle. How effective is that reflective...
