    Baywatcher's Basement Blowout

Just dropping in and saying Hi. I'm finally employed again, which is nice, though the garden sustained us for nearly 2 years. Nothing really new in my setup, but that may change. Now that I'm working fulltime, taking care of 48 plants in dirt is a real pain in the ass time-wise. I'm considering...

    Baywatcher's Basement Blowout

I'm *almost* caught up downstairs after being gone so long. Three more clones to put into dirt, and a Cujo to harvest today.

Happy New Year everyone! We spent it quietly at home, drinking champagne and trimming :)

    Baywatcher's Basement Blowout

The garden just automatically took care of itself for 8 days. It is like a jungle down there! Hope everyone had a merry xmas!

    Thundercat's Groooooooow

That's great! My oxy tankfill system died yet again (Extreme Oxygen and Unlimited Oxygen are scamming assholes, beware), so I'm having a low pressure (100 psi) constant fill built that should be done sometime in early January. In the meantime, I've got half a K-tank left to finish Christmas stuff...

    Baywatcher's Basement Blowout

Two of the three rooms are now auto-watering/feeding. The rez tank I need for the 3rd is on a truck now, all the drip lines have already been run. I really like these: http://hydrobuilder.com/flexitank-105-gallon.html

    Thundercat's Groooooooow

Glad to hear the glass is going well. It's cold enough here now that I have to really psyche myself up to work in the shop...

    Baywatcher's Basement Blowout

Thanks for dropping in DT. TC - Yeah, it is taking some getting used to in terms of amount of work, and amount of planning, needed to fill them up and keep them going properly on a perpetual. I expect a trimmer rebellion from my wife when it becomes 3x week, every week :)

Lookie, plants! I've almost got the first room filled. The first pic is a Skunk #1 that has gone a little crazy.

    Baywatcher's Basement Blowout

Got my new vermicomposter set up today, and have a biological microscope on the way as well so I can really dial in my teas. Also, cleaned out my clone reservoir . How long has it been for you???? :)

    Baywatcher's Basement Blowout

It took me way longer to get it all working properly than it should of (RTFM, I know), but my flip-box and light controller are now happily working properly together, and I can turn off the twice a day phone alarm to remind me to flip manually :)

I've got to get a bunch more fans now, need more air movement.

    Baywatcher's Basement Blowout

Pics, huzzah! The second flower room went operational last night. So here are the pics of the room when we started -- long basement, bisected with a trimmed-out post, taken from the doorway at the bottom of the stairs. These were shot standing in the same place. There's now a wall with a...

    Baywatcher's Basement Blowout

Holy shit, it's essentially done. I'll get pics this weekend, I still have to clean up some of the mess, but the flower girls have been moved into their new 2x bigger room and couldn't be happier. It's going to be a few weeks before I have the second room running, but that's only because I don't...

Day 2 of basement rebuild is complete. I think we'll have it done tomorrow. My back hurts.

    Baywatcher's Basement Blowout

Wife is home, I'm still running just enough fever to be miserable. On the good news front, I got 6.5z off of the Cotton Candy plant I harvested last week, by far my best yield ever off a single plant in dirt.

    Baywatcher's Basement Blowout

In other news, my wife has been in the hospital for 3 days now with asthmatic bronchitis. After a week coughing with what we assumed were seasonal allergies, by Saturday night she was having real trouble breathing. I apparently caught it from her at some point, but as soon as my throat started...

    Baywatcher's Basement Blowout

Well, it's only going to be 5 lights per side, not six, just for power consumption purposes. On other news, thrips are back again. I hit them with spinosad spray, and will be using it as a soil drench for the next few weeks again. At least this time, I knew what I was seeing and caught it early.
