    Too late to cook SS?

I'm getting ready to restart my garden. I'm completely out of SS. How late is too late to cook a batch outside? It's been low 90's for the last week still, but our weather can change quite rapidly. How warm does it really need to be to effectively cook a batch?

    Should i even bother flowering?

how long after watering are you taking clones and how soft is the plant material when you clone? If it's woody and hard you're going to have a lot harder time getting them to root. And if the mother was root bound i would bet she hasn't been putting on a lot of soft tissue new growth. Wait till...

OK... I changed my mind. LED fixtures it is!!

DIY isn't hard at all. A little time consuming, but totally worth it you can customize to exactly what you want and save some money.

    Using Wago's for all connections?

Here's the layout I had before taking the drivers off the frame. Much happier with remote drivers. Happy to have it up. Going to look into some extruded 8020 for a different frame, try and spread them out a little more. They're just under 12" apart all around. Measure twice. Cut once. Make...

    Using Wago's for all connections?

Decided to mount the drivers on the inside wall of my box. I like the remote look better than having them on the frame. Didn't really leave space on the frame (stoner here didn't look at driver dimensions before designing his frame). Everything is up and running. I had no idea these would be...

    Using Wago's for all connections?

I ended up going with a different mounting area. I'm not sure how I like it. Wondering because I may end up remote mounting the drivers, how hot do the drivers usually run?

    Using Wago's for all connections?

Aah..... That moment when you mount your drivers and they're 2" too far apart to tie the AC leads together in a wago.:wall::wall::wall: And the bars they're on are already riveted on. :wall::wall::wall: And you have to seriously rethink your driver placement. Lol. Should have mocked up the...

    Using Wago's for all connections?

Are you say dedicated AC power line for each driver and not tie them together? Just curious, this whole led setup should pull less than 450w, so why should they be on dedicated lines. I appreciate you taking the time to explain.

    Using Wago's for all connections?

Duh! Thanks. Guess I was only imagining appliance cords for 220, like an oven or dryer.

    Using Wago's for all connections?

Cool. To make sure I understand. Take both grounds from the drivers, the ground from the wall plug, tie them into one wego, run a 4th wire out of the wego and screw that to the frame. Then when I plug it in it'll all be grounded? Is what I want to do with the 12 or 14 gauge extension cord out...

    Using Wago's for all connections?

Replacing the 600, not adding to. Glad to get that heat machine out of my space. Hoping (need to check) that two 240's in place of the 600 will be ok. Gonna watch some more videos tonight and tomorrow to make sure I've got it all down. something tells me I'm going to have more questions...

    Using Wago's for all connections?

ill be mounting my drivers on the frame, may consider remote mounting in the future if heat is an issue. Still using the 6" inline fan from my cool tube for exhaust still, so I don't see heat being a problem. Am I better off wiring the grounds into the AC plug or to the frame? If one is...

    Using Wago's for all connections?

And if I can tie everything into an extension cord do I just ignore the ground on the plug since the drivers are grounded to the frame? Appreciate all the help from the forum

    Using Wago's for all connections?

Awesome. I'll be running two 240h hlg's with 6 cob's on each. Hope that's fine for the same outlet my 600 hps is plugged into. Thanks for the suggestion on using a wago to tie the grounds together. How long are the power leads on the drivers? Can I use a wago to tie them into a 15' 14ga (or...

    Using Wago's for all connections?

Hopefully this is my last basic question before I get everything wired up and ready to go. Heat sinks arrived yesterday and I have my frame all built and ready to go. Package from kingbrite with the COB kit (cxb's, ideal holders, reflectors, thermal tape, etc) all arrives tomorrow and I think...

COB spacing at 1 per sq ft

I will be using 90* reflectors from kingbrite. Should I adjust much from my plan of centering them on each sq ft since I've got the reflectors? Will be running at 1050ma passively cooled.

COB spacing at 1 per sq ft

Probably a dumb question, but want to make sure I get this right. I have everything ordered, and i picked up my 1/8" aluminum angle today. Ready to start assembling when heat sinks arrive on Tuesday! Im using 12 cxb3590's in a 4x3 box. Is this as simple as one COB centered in each sq ft, or...
