Are you using an hps for veg? If so maybe the hps with 18/6 is tricking it to flower. Just a thought tho. I veg my HSO chemdawg on 24/0 an have been thinking of switching to 18/6 in my veg room to see my girls would like it better. Altho my chem mother is doing really good under 24/0. But my...

I have used cfl's for veg an T5's also. My node spacing was a lot more compact due to the fact that i could put the clf's closer an where i wanted to. I use an penetrator 336x pro led for flowering.

The led i use is an 336x pro from hydrogrowled 500watts an is compared to an 1000w hps. It coasted 2000$ tho. I have only grew two different strains under this led an they both started to produce trichomes after the first week of flower. You will not get quit the weight from any led as an hps...
