Yeah I reckon it hurts yield to have too much light. Easy to do with modern LEDs. 1000 is about the sweet spot with no CO2 imo. Thats with my lights anyway ymmv

Yeah its a good veg and perfectly fine for flower up until about week 5. I adjust ratios and use a PK for last few weeks especially as the hydroflex t i use is very high in K.

I use Hydroflex T amd Cal Nit plus a bit of Epsom salts. Diamond T would work the same. Start with 70g Diamond T, 60g Cal Ni and 20g Epson salt per 100 L water and you will get good results across most strains. Then fine tune from there through trial and error. Dilute the Diamond T and Epson...

Honestly, for outdoors in the sub tropics you want equatorial varieties (Sativas) if you want hardy bush weed that will grow without risk of mould etc. You can grow plants with denser flowers but they need to be babied a lot more. The Aussie seed banks on Instagram are usually just reselling...

Zero gnats when mediumless. When I use coco or clay balls then yes sometimes gnats need managing.

    The klx Way!

Not really. Flood trays have deep grooves so any residual nutrient sits down in them and dont cause a problem. You can have a slight incline back towards the drain but if you use proper flood trays its not necessary. The reason I said that was during the development of this system I lost a few...

    Chuckers paradise......

I am still working @genuity Demo line. At this point I am thinking its a new line as this plant is an S1 of an F3 and I am reversing it to make S2s and crosses.. I have been selecting what I like but I would say it is now an OG type with very stretchy, gassy hand grenade nuggs. We have grown...

    The ancient Tap Water question

Not sure what a PPP meter is but EC and PH are different things so yes if you are growing hydro you need both if you want to be good at growing. Yeah Im not sure about your water quality as I am in a different country. I used tap water for years no problem but it was clean and drinkable. Now I...
