thats how I saw it, but there must be some growth during light hours, because ppl do 24hr light schedules, but man when I do 36hrs of dark before switching to flowering and adding flowering nutes before switching it makes them have so much new growth when I look at them when the lights come back on.

some people also literally tie lolipops to there bottom branches to make them droop not sure why, but it fattens up your plants. I saw it done on this website
