    2x 400w Stealth Closet Grow - SCROG

You don't have to completely redo the venting system. What I would do to solve this problem is put one other hole in the ceiling and make the lighting ventilation a closed loop. So it would be cool air from the attic --> booster--> ducting --> reflector --> ducting --> reflector --> ducting -->...

20k$ 28ftx14ft New Super Grow House "Journal"

I would like to start off by saying thank you for your service. Secondly, I have seen a few videos on the internet and done some research about water cooling with a heat exchanger and chiller. You can either use a minisplit ac or from what I have read chillers are more efficient than ac units...

Guide to Nutrient Deficiency or Toxicity

I had what I beleived to be a magnesium deficiency. I'm not so sure anymore if that is it or if it is a burn of some sort. If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it. I water once every 2-3 days about a half a gallon of ph adjusted tap water. Ph is usually from 5.5 to 6.0. I do not...

    Setting up and various questions

Well I'm not sure what your temps are where you are going to house this, but HID's put out enough heat on their own, so I do not believe you will need a heater. A fan blowing will definitely help strengthen them up though. If you don't want to be held back by small lights then don't buy small...

Guide to Nutrient Deficiency or Toxicity

So she is about two months old i think, overall she looks healthy to me. I'm a newbie for sure. Temps are hovering around 75F lights on and around 68 to 70F during lights off. Relative humidity fluctuates but is usually really low anywhere from 15% to 40% usually around 20% + or - 5%. I have...

    CFL Grow Cabinet [ADVICE NEEDED]

yes cannabis plants are very light sensitive. If you have spiratic light through your dark photoperiod it can cause your plant to go hermie. You will definitely want to light proof it as best as possible. There is also something called a moonlight cycle where you place a very low wattage light...

Need suggestions on how to monitor & remotely control my lights, heat, and AC.

Here is a link to a thread by advancednewbie about how he set up and wrote code for an arduino controlled grow room. https://www.rollitup.org/grow-room-design-setup/520965-arduino-controlled-grow-pc-program.html

    Missing anything?

Another solution is to use a magnetic ballast. No signal interference, but they are not as efficient. It is coming from the actual ballast. The digital ballast operate on a much higher frequency than magnetic and depending on the range can mess with a variety of household items like cordless...

3000w Flips My Breaker, What are my options? HELP!

I am glad that you rewired it properly, I would hate to see something bad happen to a fellow RIU'er. I still think it's funny that the electrician said he didn't know what he was doing for a minute. Brain fart !!! ;) I'm sure you will be able to sleep well now knowing that it is now a safe set up.

    Missing anything?

If you buy a cheap digital ballast it will not have a good enough built in rf sheild and that is why you will get signal interference you could build a faraday cage around it and it will stop any outgoing frequencies.

Not your same old "is my closet temps to high" Question. Seeking advice, not urgent.

Well that is a good question about the actual temp of the plant. Unfortunately I am unable to answer it. It seems like you have a great setup going and I am just wondering with all of the ventilation how in the hell are the temps so high? Well have you thought about using your chiller to help...

Help Me Make A Good "Set Up" *Detail's Inside*

I concur. I built a very small box for a temporary set up while I am finishing my main project and I am currently using one of these fans through a carbon filter. It does not work as well as I hoped it would. So I went out and bought a 400cfm hydrofarm centrifugal fan with a speed controller...

    Moveable Platforms Under 600 Watts
