Well, I have one of this Vipar LED light from evergrow, 185W actual consumption all on, half on is about 95-97W. The bad point is that when we turn it off, the fans still work and consume 7W electricity. Also got their monster price list for reference.

Yes, this is one of my concerns, but there are some LED grow lights with UVB tubes or bulbs on the market right now, I am wondering if this can cause any negative troubles to the growers working under this equipment.

Based on my knowledge, UV 380nm LED and IR 730nm LEDa are both visible though very dim. There is no any LED with lower wavelength than 380nm on the market at the moment, this invisible LED must be higher than 800nm.

Probably not dead, it might be a long-length wavelength such as 850nm IR LED. FranJan is an expert at this issue.

Well~trying a 36W LED grow bulbs with full spectrum, looking nice and time will tell.

While hanging dozens of LED grow lights in a growth, it is very common that some modules get burnt out, no matter which brand...But so far, Apollo has been proved.

So has Ben at Hydroponicshut recovered from the fake Cree LEDs troubles? By looking at the pictures of his website, this Progrow is still assembled with the old PCB and mylar reflector paper, not MCPCB, I am wondering how its thermal management works out, by using big fans producing loud noise...

Originally comes from China with some modification by discarding the dimming function and changing into three switches for veg, bloom and intense, kind of the CaliforniaLightWorks solarstorm. Another company resells this lamp is the Cosmicgrowth in Canada...
