    Real AF grower only!!

Basil, and a pineapple....which is doing awesome. It has been about two and half months since I panted the top and it has some great growth going on. It's also why I'm going to do Pineapple express next. Hopefully they will encourage each other to thrive:-P I'd love to be eating my own pineapple...

    Real AF grower only!!

Here are my Snow Ryder plants...these were taken about a about 10 days before harvest. They didn't get over 18''. Thing #1 was nice and bushy with thumb sized buds and nice hefty main cola...would have been perfect for LST. Thing #2 was almost all cola with these tiny little nugs around the...

    Real AF grower only!!

You know I've been eye-balling some of the short stuff seeds strains. I recently just finished Snow Ryder by short stuff. Honestly, I'm impressed with its over all look, smell and how easy it was to grow....very hardy plant. I burned it early on in the grow, and it was able to bounce back very...

    my outdoor garden

I wish my jalapeno's looked like that. They had about two and a half weeks of rain and look very sad....I might have to start the peppers and tomatoes over again.

    Trichomes....cloudy to amber ration?

Actually, I started this thread to get some ideas, info and others personal preferences on when to harvest. I certainly wasn't expecting the discussion to go in this direction. Needless to say, I think I got the info I was looking for. Ultimately, it seems that everyone can agree that harvesting...

    Trichomes....cloudy to amber ration?

Seems to me there are conflicting ideas here. Now, being that I'm newbie I'm not going to say what I think is the right way or the wrong way. I've studied martial arts long enough to know that there is more than one way to end a bad situation, and not one certain technique or series of...

    Trichomes....cloudy to amber ration?

The thing is, I never disagreed with him. I just questioned a few statements he made and asked for references and/or sources so I could be better informed, along with letting him know I didn't appreciate his vulgar attitude. Since then he has had a bug up his butt towards me. I have no doubt...

I know right?! I just was looking for some info and some personal preferences on when to harvest so I can make an informed decision about my first grow.

    Trichomes....cloudy to amber ration?

You know Trousers....it would have been much more productive and efficient if you just gave me the source of the information. But for some strange reason you felt it much more important to be rude to me, because I asked a few questions.....Unbelievable.

    Trichomes....cloudy to amber ration?

Typically when someone starts shooting off their mouth and using vulgarity I tend to take what every they say with a grain of salt. However, you mentioned a few things I found interesting. #1 CBN is not desirable....why? I was under the impression the CBN and CBD have good medicinal properties...

    Trichomes....cloudy to amber ration?

Thanks for all the info everyone. I was also wondering about the "lights off" period. I've only read a paragraph from a study done in Europe about the "lights off" increasing potentcy. But, like I said I only read a paragraph, and with out reading the whole study I have no idea how big the study...

    Trichomes....cloudy to amber ration?

So I've been looking at trichomes with a 30X jewelers loupe. I've noticed that they have begun to start turning amber. I'm thinking of waiting till about 20-25% are amber before I harvest. Is that a good percentage of amber or should I wait till about half have turned? What do you prefer?

    First grow...with harvest in sight!!!

Thanks for the info. One thing to keep in mind about Snowryder is, it's an auto-flowering strain and not photoperiod. If you have a moment look at the other photos I posted. I know they are not ready...yet....however I think it will be soon....when its time the plants always will let us know...

Thanks...but unfortunately the parrot is no longer with us, and missed...and thank you, any grow is fun when it turns out to be productive.

Thank You! I think T5's are somewhat underestimated. I know they don't have the output as HPS....and I knew that going into the grow, plus I'm on a buget. So, I practiced on herbs and veggies, indoor and outdoor for a year before I even attempted this grow.
