I only grew the 8 plants and I used one 600 watt HID and ballast, the dude in my local hydro shop said it would be cool

When I did my last grow the roots grew that fast that they made their way through my pebbles and out of the pot's, I saw the spreader matt in my local hydro store and wondered what it was for (only my first grow) Do you sorta line your pots with the matt, then fill your pot's with the pebbles...

.......just done my first grow and it's time to clean out, ready for the next. How can I clean out my pebbles to get rid of any old roots and use them again?? Is it best just to empty my pots to clean them out, or can u buy some kind of soluion to break everything down?

When I germinated my seeds I just put them in some paper towel. I left them in my proporgator for about 1 week to begin, then straight under my 600W HID light. Fed them with PH'd water every other day using a spray bottle until they were strong enough to take some nutes, (about 3 weeks) Then...

sorry, got my measurements wrong, the longest side of the system is just over a metre long, so whatever that is in square metres, never was to good at maths..... I'll be using two of these side by side, do you think I'll have enough light or would you get flouresents round the side aswell?

I'm thinking clones are the way forward, I only have one room so I wouldn't have anywhere to veg a mother plant. I'll be getting clones next time, any recomendations?? I think there will be a few varieties to choose from:mrgreen:

I've grown before from seed and it's a bit dodgey when it comes to germinating...... If you use close, how long would you leave them vedging for before turning to 12/12?......I'm looking for an adverage yeild:joint:

I did my first grow not long back, It was a quality smoke, I grew 4 white rhino, and 4 orange bud.....only problem is, I didn't get much yeild. The grow went pretty good all the way through, so I'm not thinking it was anything to do with the nutes?? 2 of the plants were a lot taller than the...

Evening guys.......got a few questions for you and could do with a little advice:joint: I'm thinking of doing a grow using 2xwilma 8 pot systems, when they're placed side by side the area measures around 1 metre square, would using 1 600W HID light be enough for 16 plants?? or will I need more...

That's what I'm saying.....Get the PH right and monitor it closely, I only used to use one of those liquid PH testers........ it's deffo worth investing in a digital 1, it's much easier to read:joint:
