By the way, I grow everything in 5 gallon buckets. Unless I'm going to veg longer in order to LST, then it goes in an 8 gallon rectangle tote. I find the 5 gallon bucket is a perfect size for me.

Watch that chocolope in flower, they really shoot up and spread. At least for me. I had a 4x4 tent (height is only 6'), but I had my HPS as high as it could go and I STILL ended up having to tie her out like an octopus to the tent supports to try to keep her height down. :) I'm in the same boat...

I normally harvest when all trichs are cloudy, and you are seeing amber. However, I always make sure there are no clear trichs. A lot of the time it means staged harvests. But it also depends on the strain. And my biggest advice, make sure you are not seeing damaged trichs and confusing them...

I have found that when they say 70 days to harvest, they don't include the "stagnant" flip time that Bilbo is talking about. I always allow at least 2-3 weeks additional time to compensate for the flip time, along with extra time for possible issues. But I never, EVER, base my harvest off days...
