Blue mystic , bubblelicious, and papaya

T5 for the first 3 weeks. 400w super HPS air cooled the rest of the time. It stayed cool enough to keep the light about 6"-8" above the canopy. 4 of them and they yielded about 2 oz each. 8 oz total.

I agree with GB. But since you've already put the seeds in the rockwool I wouldn't try to change it this time. :-)

Water from the bottom, IOW let the cubes soak it up. Only do this when the cubes are really light, and almost dry. Those roots need fresh air, not just fresh water. I also don't like giving the rockwool as much as it can hold until the seedling is well established. The roots like it moist...

    My DIY Fog Cloner

++++++++++++++++Rep for you my friend! I helped with the Rand Paul 2010 Campaign, voted for Ron in 08 and I'm doing everything I can this time around. Growing and being Libertarian seem to go hand in hand IMO! People just won't listen!

Mg, Ca, and Nutrient Lockout Issues..Need Help

I have used that same lime, the trick is to crush 50% as fine as you can get it. Apply a 50/50 mix of the crushed and uncrushed lime at a rate of 2 TBSP/Gallon of soil. This will give you lime now and later. And as for the water.....that's good tap water. I wouldn't get RO in your case...

    My DIY Fog Cloner

Just get some 2" net pots and cut the net out of them. Leaving just the collar. They will fit perfect in those 2" holes and the neoprene inserts will fit perfect into the net pot collars. Looks Good! +Rep...... BTW, where did you get the fogger?

    PH for soilless mix?

Cool. I only veg for 3 weeks so once is probably plenty. BTW, what pH level do you have/operate with the soilless peat mix? Mine stays extremely low even with lime mixed in, like in the 5.0-5.5 range. My nutes are always at 6.0-6.5, but this doesn't seem to bring it up at all. Think it would...

Fox Farm Trio or Dutch Master Gold with Soilless Peat Mix

The "guy" at the hydro store sold me the Grow Big for Soil. They where out of the hydro kind, but he ASSURED me that the Soil kind would be fine for my soilless mix. Does anyone know if this is true?

    Myth Buster in Action

I think I am going to try the small amount of water with more frequency. I've always been told to water till you get a little run off, so I have been hesitant to try. I would like to not use so much perlite....I think this is the way. Do you ever give your plants a deep soaking or do you...

Just got some fem. SLH seeds. Does anyone know if this is a pretty stable plant or does it have a lot of phenotypes?

    Myth Buster in Action

That is the MG garden soil. It is suppose to be an additive to your garden. MG also has an Organic Choice Potting Mix that isn't quite so dense and already has some perlite in it. I will be watching this one, I am very curious to see how the Garden Soil will do by itself.

    Bonazai Clone Mothers

+Rep Great thread!!! I have a 2 year old Jack Herer cross bonsai mother that looks identicle. Most def the way to go. I only take about 10 at a time and it seems like I could have filled a 55 gal barrel with the cuts I have scrapped to keep it squat. But it's never been more than 16" tall and...

Fox Farm Trio or Dutch Master Gold with Soilless Peat Mix

If anyone has any experience growing in a peat/perlite mix with nothing added but dolomite lime, is it better to use a strictly hydroponic fertilizer like Dutch Master Gold or would it be equal or better to grow with the organic Fox Farm Trio? This is a sterile mix so there are NO beneficial...
