Do you think RG3 will make the Redskins a SB contender this year? Or not?

On CBSsports.com, it says RG3 will begin running this week!! Gruden said that RG3 heals fast, so I guess he was right. Now that 6-8 week prognosis starting from the ankle dislocation looks about right, maybe even on the short side--6 weeks maybe.

Do you like your gummi bears soft or hard?

Well, the gelatin that's in gummi bears is also in Jello, and mostly everyone likes Jello, especially strawberry jello. And I still wonder if it's possible to add cannabis to the gummi bears/gelatin. Then maybe they'll be called "funny bears"???

Do you like your gummi bears soft or hard?

This might sound like a strange question, but for lovers of gummi bears (like me), this is a very serious question and of the utmost importance. I like my gummi bears hard, someone suggested to me to stick the package in the refrigerator for an hour to make it harder and it works!! ...although...

Do you think RG3 will make the Redskins a SB contender this year? Or not?

Hmmm...... Maybe I should have re-titled this thread to "do you think Kirk Cousins will make the redskins a SB contender this year?"

Do you think RG3 will make the Redskins a SB contender this year? Or not?

I think if anything, his rookie year should have been his Super Bowl year. Regarding that Seahawks game that the Redskins lost in the 2012 playoffs, before RG3 hurt his knee, the Redskins offense was marching up and down the field against a very good Seahawks defense. The Seahawks had no...

Do you think RG3 will make the Redskins a SB contender this year? Or not?

So this will be RG3s third NFL season. I think this year is pivotal for him. Will he be the RG3 of 2012, or look more like he was last year? Last year he wasn't fully back to his pre ACL injury (and the jury is still out if he ever will be). He has some potent weapons on offense--WR Garcon...

Some soldiers didn't surrender until 30 years after WW2 ended!!!

well without going back and reading his article/bio, I believe he had a few rounds left when he was relieved of duty.... and apparently, he kept his rifle in pretty good shape after all those years.... It's pretty bizarre that he ended up fighting just local police (and killing some) Didn't it...

Some soldiers didn't surrender until 30 years after WW2 ended!!!

well.... some people here think I have an unhealthy obsession with how bad the Japanese were during WW2, like in my Unit 731 thread. But I guess part of it is because I am part Japanese, and I find it disturbing how brutal they were during WW2. Yes, today's Japanese are not the same, although...

Some soldiers didn't surrender until 30 years after WW2 ended!!!

As we're coming up on the anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack, here's something that most people here probably didn't know about. There were these Japanese soldier holdouts who refused to surrender after WW2 ended and continued fighting, some for a very long time. Check out this article...

Bloom County or The Far Side? Which one was better/funnier?

I didn't know that about Bloom County. Yes, Calvin and hobbes was really good too. I still prefer Bloom County and The Far Side--that Gary Larsen was just not from this planet.....

Do you know how to use chopsticks?

Wah....? You mean they do that regardless of if you can use chopsticks or not?

Bloom County or The Far Side? Which one was better/funnier?

Or if you guys chose "Other," name your comic strip of choice. Those two I mentioned were the best to me. Some were just not funny at all, like Garfield....just not funny.

Do you know how to use chopsticks?

Yeah, the results are a bit surprising--21 out of 25 people know how to use chopsticks In Hawaii, that would kinda be expected, but on the mainland USA or other countries (outside the far east anyway), the results are kinda surprising, to me.

Do you know how to use chopsticks?

I swear I must be the only person in Hawaii that doesn't know how to use chopsticks. When I go to a Japanese or Chinese restaurant, there are even white people and black people using chopsticks, and I'm the only one asking for a goddamn fork! And I'm Asian! I mean we're suppose to know how to...

The Nazi swastika as a symbol of hope??

There. Now I fixed the typo. Happy? Geesh! Try spelling Israel Kamakawiwo'ole or better yet, try pronouncing it. Hell, my favorite football player in the late 1990's was local boy running back Chris Fuamatu-Ma'afala (yeah I know he's not Hawaiian, he's Samoan), but it was a great joy hearing...

The Nazi swastika as a symbol of hope??

Maybe I should have put this post in the OP, but I can't edit the first post anymore. Because the following post in quotes explains the OP a bit more, it's what I meant by using the swastika as protection/saving lives. Go watch the movie "John Rabe" which has this scene in the movie: ""There...

The Nazi swastika as a symbol of hope??

I watched "City Of Life And Death" again--it's about the Nanking Massacre. And while watching it, I realized that the reason not everyone could just fight back was that their families were close by. If there was any chance that they could survive without fighting back, you take that chance...

The Nazi swastika as a symbol of hope??

hey you know, I found the video below on YouTube, and I thought of you. Previously, I had heard of this video "Men Behind The Sun"--about the atrocities of Unit 731, but I never saw the movie, but I found out just recently that it's on YouTube, in it's entirety. The Japanese were ten times worse...

Unit 731 atrocities--this video will blow your mind! Worse than Nazis

Yeah, it made me wonder what their parents were like. Didn't they teach them to respect human life, and that life is precious? After watching the video about Unit 731, it just made me think that the two atomic bombs were just Karma, for all the suffering the Japanese of the era inflicted on much...

The Nazi swastika as a symbol of hope??

Too hot? Nah.... It rarely gets to 90 degrees Farenheit here in Hawaii. I don't like the muggy humid Kona Wind weather (winds from the south or southeast), but thankfully, that's the minority of the time, it's usually tradewind weather, so in general, there's always a cool breeze blowing...
