    rooms temps 23c no idea about water content. I'm in asia and no way i would drink this water. Everyone uses bottled water here. But i have grown (very well) using same water. I always let it sit out for at least a day

    This is whats getting me confused. I have everything in correct PH ranges. The only thing i can think of is the tap water and the molecules are too large to be absorbed efficiently and end up accumulating on the outside of the roots

    Thanks for the help. I understand now. The dyna-gro sounds the way forward at i will contact them for my next grow. No time for this 1. I have found a modified Hoagland's solution i can use just now. As i said limited with what i can get here.

In the past i had always added soil into my pot mixes. problems is neighbours were thinking it was werid with all the large bags of dirt etc so i cut it out this time
