    Driverless AC COB LED build

Something that will help solder these is laying them on an iron.Heating the aluminum makes it so much easier.I'm very interested to see how this works out.

    "Driverless" cob swap

I told someone in another thread that I had ordered some of these and would show putting one in a chinesium cob fixture.I use this to shine up into the canopy. It really helps in my tall narrow closet. These cob fixtures are really nice but we are kinda locked into using the company's chips.I...

Topping in auto moby dick xxl strains (dinafem)

Coco is a real bear to get right. It just soaks up calmag at the start and kinda gives it back at the middle and end and when things go bad it doesn't take long for it to show.Watch for brown spotting or yellowing.I hope you grow a monster.

Topping in auto moby dick xxl strains (dinafem)

I grew Moby dick XXL auto last year. It is a very big plant with three phenotypes. One is really fluffy and the other is dense and hard.the third is in between with very pretty flowers. The dried bud smells like strong cedar and spice. It was a little overpowering for me.The effect is average I...

    Are cobs really worth it?

I can do that.I'm really curious about them.Bigclive on the u tube reverse engineered one.I intend to use one as under lighting in my flower box. I started doing that with cfl and it helped my flowers a lot so I got a single cob and shine it up in the canopy. When the slow boat from china gets...

    Are cobs really worth it?

LOL.Yes I can and yes I will.Have you ever looked inside one of these?Their chips are driven by two drivers.Like it's actually two cobs on one die.each driver powers half the cob.I was gonna wait untill a driver failure to modify the light. I have a single cob version of this light that I use...

    Are cobs really worth it?

Actually its 330 watts on kill a watt meter.I have had this for three years and changed only one chip.I don't think that's so bad.I get 6 to 8 oz every 60 days from this rig.If you are a hobby grower like myself how efficient it is isn't important.Price and simplicity is.That make sense?

    Are cobs really worth it?

Doc that shit rubs me the wrong way.Look at these pictures .That is a 2x2x48 cab.I promise there's 6 zips in it. All grown under a $175 china light. It is not "highly invested".Your uniformed opinions steer new growers wrong.Top shelf medicine can easily be grown with LED.
