not mine but a friends,light tripped a fuse went to have a look when he plugs ballast in it hums like normal(magnetic ballast) but when he plugs the lead in(female/male plug) it trips there cant be a lot to go wrong can there? its only a lead going to a bulb? or is there anything else involved...

i'm about 3 weeks into my 3rd grow with lights on 24/0 for vegging i wasn't here yesterday so i just checked em and my 600w was off the ballast was slightly warm so i guess its only gone in the last 2-3 hours how do i know if its the bulb or the ballast? I've got 1 23w cfl that I'm gonna hang...

hi all i'm having some heat issues at the mo this is a shit diagram of my grow room (H 2m x W 1.5x L 1.5m) i had the fans bringing in cool air from the outside and venting the hot air just outside the room ive swapped this around and its a little better.but not good enough i was vegging 24/0...
