So I started a 10 plant patch a couple days ago (black pearl and AK47). Now I'm concerned that the ferns will have some issue with the Ph like pine needles do. Do you think they will effect it? I planted right in the middle of a big ass fern patch...here's a pic of the types of ferns:

I always see things like this: Height: 3 ft - 4 ft Flowering Time: 9 weeks Yield: 2.5 to 3.0 oz per plant I always assumed that meant the plant needs to be in 12/12 for about 9 weeks. Is that correct? Or is 9weeks the total time the plant will need to grow?
