I only grow with CFLs and scrog from start to finish. I have never had a problem with light

I have to plants that are under 300 true watts CFLs in a space that is 4'w x 2'd x 4'h. should i scrog or just let them grow?

my cab is 4ft wide x 22in deep and my plants are doing ok. your a bit on the small side but if you can make it deeper you should go like 1ft deeper i wish i would have LOL

If you have CFLs I keep mine about 2-3 inches at all times. seems to keep them growing at a good steady pace without stretching. I have never used MH or HPS so i cant help you there. good luck with you grow!!!

I was wondering if you can or should top a plant more then once?

I'm 2 1/2 weeks into veg right now but when things get moving along I will get some pictures up Should be interesting to see what happens

Thanks for all the info. Heat is no problem, i have to fight to keep my heat up right now. If thats the case then i will add the 3 extra lights i have to help... that will give me 9 42w. Just seems like a lot of light but i'm gonna give um hell.....:-)

I was wondering if you can have to much light? I have 2 55w(250) plus 6 42w(150) CFLs for 2 plants, 1 55w and 3 42w per plant in a 3' wide x 20" deep space. would i get a better yield if i just had one plant under that many lights or would that be to much for just one?

is one better then the other to store you mj in?

Just wondering if anyone has tried using halogen lighting. Would it work or is it just the wrong kind of light. Also wondering if you can use just any ph test kit.

Between long winded cfl and twist type cfl, is there one that is better then the other?
