yes it is switchable. both on bulb type and volts. mh/hps and 120/240 all that the ballast shows is the brand name the watts and the address of the company.

So I have a CAP 1000w magnetic ballast and wanted to know if I could run a 1000w hortilux blue bulb on it. The box of the bulb says use only with ballast for ansi m47 lamps and I can't find any info online on the ballast. Any info greatly appreciated
