    Ferts!

Thank you for the education on prills, though I didn't need it, cause I'm not using them. You need to stop being so defensive with someone who is trying to help you. You, my friend, are the one who posted the questions, which implied that you had limited knowledge on the subject.

    Ferts!

Without the proper micros your going to have deficiencies. I'm not a nutrient, or even a weed expert, but my opinion would be that scratching dry nutes into the soil would give you a slower, more long term release. Thats not necessarily a bad thing, as long as your providing a complete diet...

    Ferts!

To sum it up... Will a 15-15-15 or 1-1-1 get you though to harvest? In a word, yes, but at what cost? You may experience reduced yield and/or an extended flower period. Some use little to no N for flower, and say it is normal for leaves to yellow toward the end. In fact, it is not normal...

    Question about spectrum of light

I'm not sure what your seeing, but cool white or daylight bulbs refer to a more white or blue light, usually in the 5000-6500 kelvin range. Warm white is what will give you the more orange spectrum in the 2700 kelvin range.

Solar Panels in a Grow Room?

I understand it's a cool concept and all, but if your buying a solar panel, why wouldn't you just hook it up outside where it would generate the most electricity?

The original question still remains... Can male preflowers produce viable pollen?

    Lollipopping

Wait a minute... Are you saying that you think "nature" has some kind of awareness of what stage of growth an individual organism is in, and some how adjusts the elements it makes available to that organism? Is it not the organism that makes use of what it needs from what is continually...

    Yellowing in early flower

Hello everyone, Just a simple question... I'm 3 weeks into 12/12 and about half the crops fan leaves are yellowing then drying up. It started with the oldest (lowest) leaves and is working it's way up the plant. I'm aware yellowing is normal in flower, but should it start this early? Do I...

    NOT Enough Growth

Those analog testers are not the best. Although it wouldn't be uncommon for tap water to be in the mid to upper 7's. If you can afford it you should pick up a good PH pen. The expense is well worth the piece of mind. It's one of most important tools in your grow.

    NOT Enough Growth

The yellowing does look like an N deficiency, but this young, in pre fertilized soil, I doubt it's a lack of availability. What's your PH? The N could be locked out.

    DIY odor filtering question

The in line duct fans have a hard time overcoming the restriction of the filter. Of course that depends on the density of the filter. This DIY thread might help you out. It's meant for a pretty small grow, but it gave me the base idea for building a larger one using one of those in line duct...

    DIY odor filtering question

Shultz Moisture Plus is the same as Soil Moist, and is available at Home Depot. You can use any odor neutralizing solution in place of the ONA, although it may not work as well. Just use a slightly higher ratio of solution to water. I found that Fabreze also works pretty well with the design...
