Transplanting during early flowering stage ? (growing in soil)

Exactly my thoughts. The guy at the local growshop told me to let them be. I just cant believe being rootbound is good for them. Cheers. Thanks for your help.

Transplanting during early flowering stage ? (growing in soil)

I've just switched to 12/12 about a week ago and I really feel my pots are too small. They seem rootbounded already (quite a few roots coming out of the bottom). Will the transplant affect them and potentially turn them into hemies or is it better to wait a bit deeper into flowering stage...

I'll be installing the ventilation system tonight so it should bring it down a bit more or at least give me more control. How often and how long do you leave your fans on? I've got and extractor fan, an smaller intake fan a a normal room fan to move the air around but I still dont really know...

Yep hehe I've just raised the light a bit and the temp seems to have stabilized at 81.5ºF I'll make sure they keep nice and moist until some good leaves come out and then transfer them to a pot with soil in. sorry about the quality. I'm hoping I'll get my sister's camera this week :) Two of...

That was kind of what I was planning to do but I would be raising the pots of the LST'd plants to keep the even canopy. Now that I think about it, might aswell LST them all. This afternoon They succesfully came out of the earth all 6 of them (100% success up till now :p) I hope it keeps up. By...

I'm planning on 6 plants and 4 have already come out of the soil. I was planning on tying them down with strings every so often. I've looked it up a bit but I've got some time before I start doing it. What did you end up doing? I would love some input and some ideas of what worked for you...

Actually for the germination, I put them in some damp paper towel between two ceramic kitchen plates on top of the router (the heat from the router was constant and perfect). For the cloning I'm definetly doing that in the future but I only had seeds from the kit I bought. I bought the seeds...

Is my 600W HPS good enough for vegetative growth (from seeds) and how to optimize it?

Damn man that's quite a setup. Thanks for the info. Good luck with your harvest. I've just put my seeds to open up yesterday see how those babies go hehe. Cant wait. Cheers

Sorry to bother but what does GBD mean? Otherwise you water them with nutes one on and then normal water is that it?? Sorry man but you are dealing with a noob here lol. I'm doing seeding 3 of cream caramel and 3 of ice cool. I'm not even sure they are good breeds but I suppose better than...

Is my 600W HPS good enough for vegetative growth (from seeds) and how to optimize it?

Actually at the moment it's quite cold here so heat is a good thing but end of april it might become a problem and I'll set up a good venting system regardless. Your idea is quite good instead of investing in a bulb tube and a dedicated vent. I'll see if I can get my hands on something similar...

Yeah man I don't have a camera at the moment but I'll try and upload some pics as soon as they germinate. That's what I tought of about the water. I'll make sure to keep a couple of buckets in the room. GL with your grow man I'm subscribed ;) Also one more question... How often do you feed...

    600w Granddaddy Blueberry SOG: Pics

That's almost exactly the setup I've got (except for the bulb extraction fan). The temps in my room are also almost like yours. Do you ventilate them during the day or use the heat from the lights to keep the temperatures up nicely? Do your plants handle the cold at night all right? One last...

Is my 600W HPS good enough for vegetative growth (from seeds) and how to optimize it?

Not really ready to spend an extra hundred. I think I'll just let a harvest roll in and then invest in a proper vegginr room with dedicated lighting after the summer ;) Cant wait to see thoso babies grow hehe. Thanks for the info.

Is my 600W HPS good enough for vegetative growth (from seeds) and how to optimize it?

That was also kind of my doubt that I'm guessing the CFL's would be more flexible heat wise so the plant can get close. What would you recommend for height above the plant? Remember I'm seeding them so those babies are fragile ;) peace

Is my 600W HPS good enough for vegetative growth (from seeds) and how to optimize it?

to be honest the money I will save on the bill does not justify the investment in some other lightings so I'll go with the HPS. The CFL's I looked at would be about 40 a piece and I probobly would need at least 4 or 6. And then that would only bring wy wattage down to 300+ watts. So I'm not...

Is my 600W HPS good enough for vegetative growth (from seeds) and how to optimize it?

So basically I bought this kit with the tent, vents, pots, nutrients, etc.. But the only light that comes with it is the 600W HPS. I'll be germinating the seeds (10 or 12 of them) in a few days to harvest before the summer. I know this light is plenty good for the flowering but is there a...
