How long does it usually take for clippings to start showing roots. I took some clippings and have them suspended in a cup of water with rooting liquid. I think its been about a week and there are still no signs of roots.

This idea came to me when I was smoking up today, What if I were to glue some fake flowers on my plants, a dab of super glue away from the nodes and put on some random white-weed looking flowers? Would it draw attention or actully help out? Would the glue hurt the plants?

I have had this plant under 24/0 lighting for it's entire life, it's only about 6 weeks old and it looks like it's growing balls, what do you guys think (please tell me I'm wrong), if so then Im going to have to kill it:(
