I had the same problem 2 grows ago, what i have found works for me, is i rotate the plants in their buckets every 2 days they get a 180* turn. Since i've been doing this, no clogging.

here they are, 2 weeks to go..... also a bottom branch broke off, so i hung it for 3 days and this is a picture after 12 hours in a jar of a small bud.

looks like they need more than 17 days to me, i'd keep feeding them for another 14 days, clay balls dont seem to hold much nute in my exp. so a 4-5day flush is all you'll need.
